Virtual Patients - Otology - Unilateral Tinnitus
The patient underwent interval scans annually for a few years and then biennially. She remains under observation and the tumour has not enlarged.
Her tinnitus was managed with tinnitus therapy which included advice about sleep, nocturnal sound enrichment, and attention switching during the day. A tinnitus masker was not required.
She did not opt for a hearing aid and is doing well.
